Pioneering penny loafer style. Honouring a 90-year legacy, the Larson Weejuns® loafer by G.H.BASS embodies the American Ivy League aesthetic. Crafted with a premium-quality upper, it features our signature Whale Tail penny keeper, handsewn moccasin and beefroll stitching, durable Blake stitch construction, and a resoleable leather outsole. Effortless, sophisticated, and timeless, it works with jeans and unstructured tailoring alike.
Note: This style runs big. We recommend sizing down ½ size.

Behind the classic
Every Larson Weejuns® starts with a handsewn moccasin construction — the same technique used since 1936, stitched by hand rather than machine for a cleaner seam and a better break-in. The beefroll detail and signature whale tail penny keeper are woven directly into the upper, not applied after. Underneath, Blake-stitched construction joins the upper to a resoleable leather outsole, so a well-worn pair can be rebuilt rather than replaced. A durable rubber heel cap adds grip and wear-life without interrupting the leather sole's clean line.
Measure Your Foot for the Perfect Fit
Start by measuring your foot to find your most accurate shoe size. Use your measurements to match with our size chart and choose your best fit. If you’re between sizes, consider sizing up for a more relaxed feel or down for a closer fit. For more fit tips and styling advice, read our Fit Guide.
1
Stand with your heel against a wall and your foot flat on a piece of paper.
2
Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure the distance from heel to toe.
3
Repeat on both feet and use the larger measurement.
4
To determine width, measure across the widest part of your foot.
